Out of the blue Sunday morning, I entered Uncle Leonard's name and was saddened when an obituary popped up for him. A kind and gentle man, all of Barbara and Dub McDonald's family loved Leonard as family, because he was. I remember an article in the Rome News a few years back where he had come to Rome for a school reunion and the sadness he expressed that close friends had gone on before him. Although late with this, if there is anything our family can do for you, please let us know.
My "Boyfriend ", I am so saddened to hear of your passing. Our chance meeting at our Dr Jeff Underwood's office some 10 years ago was absolutely God ordained. I thanked you for your gifts and baked goods, and conversations, always surprising me. And I thank you now, for those that will view this, to show my love and appreciation for you. I do and will miss, my "Boyfriend ". Love, Princess You are my friend ❤️🤍💛🖤
Mr. Hall is the epitome of Black History. I was a little girl on Oak Street where he delivered mail, he would walk his route and tell us stories about the y how significant Oak Street was to Civil Rights Movement- The street where Dr. King traveled during the Selma to Montgomery March, the Black Panters and the Greek letter organizations - little did Mr. Hall know he would be etched in our memory. As an adult I remember creating a wooden crest I still have and use for Sorority events. His spirit will leave on in so many others.
Mr. Hall was the consummate professional, for making and designing fraternity and sorority boards. Sir we thank you for your time, effort and skill. In His service, Your Divine 9 Greek Family
With deepest sympathy to the Hall Family, our heart goes out you all. I remember Mr. Hall delivering the mail as a young boy in the neighborhood. Tooth pick in his mouth telling us countless stories and laughing harder than us. He and l deep sea fishing together, my parents/grandparents the knew him for years and had a good relationship. We are praying that GOD strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time. THE CARR FAMILY

Leonard was a dear and special friend to my family for over 50 years. I loved his sense of humor and his stories. He had a lot of stories. God Bless his family and the people who loved him. Leonard, YOU will be missed. Rest in peace and in the arms of our Lord.
Condolences to the family and many friends. Even though I'm a retired city mail carrier and started at Westside Post Office I didn't get a chance to work with Leonard Hall. I did work with his sister Juanita Hall at Department of Public Safety. Leonard would pull up on Sierra Street when I was delivering the man. He scared me at first because I didn't know who this man was but we became acquaintances afterwards. Keeping the family in prayer.
