Mr. Nexton was always nice and kind with the warmest of eyes and a calm spirit. One fond memory is of spending time with the family back in the day and staying over at the lake house where Nakia and I almost got stuck out on the water in the fishing boat! I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to meet Nexton and spend quality time with him and his family. His brother Abraham (Abe) and I are very close friends and through that friendship I also got to meet and spend time with Nexton parents and his sister Ann. Nexton was a wonderful man who came from a wonderful family. Maxine and I send our deep sympaty to Abe, Ann and all the family and friends of Nexton P. Marshall. Rest in peace my Sigma Brother.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Nexton. Even though it has been years since we worked together, I have always remembered him with great respect and appreciation. He was more than a coworker, he was a mentor, someone who offered guidance, wisdom, and encouragement in a way that made a lasting impact.
