Pastor Charles Earl Thomas, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away on January 4, 2025. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at New Life Missionary Baptist Church, 1943 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36108, with Rev. Rodney G. Perry eulogizing. Interment will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Public viewing and visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Life Missionary Baptist Church followed by a musical tribute to the Life and Legacy of Pastor Charles Earl Thomas from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pastor Thomas will lie in repose one hour before the funeral service on Saturday at the church.

My condolences and sympathy go out to the Thomas family. I will always remember the times we shared on the radio station and how he blessed my ministry years ago. I pray you find comfort in his many memories of preaching, singing and the times you have shared together. I pray Jesus continue to bless you to be able to smile in the midst of your tears.
