My condolences to the Muse Family and close Christian friends. Rev. Nelson was a man who shared his Christianity and fellowship wherever he went. He was a down-to-Earth Preacher and Pastor. He was fun to be with and a joy as a motivated conversationist. He found great pleasure in meeting new people and making new friends. I enjoyed many unforgettable moments being a partaker of his wit, wisdom and strong faith. He leaves many friends to mourn his passing. Rev Muse, I thank God for your wonderful and kind spirit. You were a true man of God. You lived what you preached! I remember when I came back home to visit Green Chapel, you would allow me to minister sometimes. As a young preacher, you always encouraged me. The love offering you blessed me with was always a blessing. Being in the military, often, we had just enough money to come to Alabama and make it back to where I was stationed. I love you and your family. Lastly, thank you and Sister Muse for pastoring my mother and father (Eddie & Etta Torbert) all those years. Rest in peace! Bishop Shelton L Torbert, Sr.
