Obituary For Robert H. Green

GREEN, Robert H., a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Montgomery, AL. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2106 Mill Street, Montgomery, AL, Dr. Calvin McTier, Pastor, with Bishop Kevin D. Jenkins, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Chapel A. M. E. Zion Church Cemetery, Wetumpka, Alabama, with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Green will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Robert was a classmate of mine Class of 1979 at Robert E. Lee. He was also a fellow State employee with me at the Alabama Department of Labor. I would see him often outside and saying hello and just chatting about the day. Prayers for the family and know that God is taking care of him.

I'm going to miss talking about our fave, Maze ft. Frankie Beverly and which concerts we're going to attend. Happy Feelings are in the air. May your soul be full of Joy and no more pain. Rest In Power Mr. Green.
