Obituary For Royal Parker
Royal Parker, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on May 2, 2025. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at True Divine Baptist Church, 4601 Troy Highway, Montgomery, AL, 36116 with Pastor Steven Huntley officiating. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Whistler, AL with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. at the funeral home. Mr. Parker will lie in repose one hour before the funeral service at the church.

Uncle Roy, my first memory of you is from when I was in elementary school, and you taught Jasmine and me how to make our hands sweat by rubbing them together for what seemed like forever. That interaction was probably something you would have never thought that I would hold onto as so precious to me. To the Family of Royal Parker, I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Parker at Maxwell AFB, and he was a great professional. He was always willing to help with awards, decorations, and provide us with guidance. He will be missed and I pray GOD comforts you in this time of grief.
One of the best uncles I ever had and could relate to. We both served in the armed forces. You will be remembered and always have a special place in my heart.
