Sallie M. Thompkins of Montgomery, AL, passed away on January 11, 2026. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church), 2815 Forbes Dr., Montgomery, AL, with Father Manuel Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery under the direction of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will take place Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and Ms. Thompkins will lie in repose at the church one hour before the service.
