Lynn, I remember when Grandmoma Sharp used to keep all of us cousins on Sandy Street every day while our parents went to work...about 11+ of us, WOW!π We played outside all day and made dolls out of Coca-Cola bottles and with silk hair from the ears of fresh corn we had helped her shuck; Jack's, jump rope, hulahoop pick-up-sticks, marbles and one of our favorite games hanging upside down from a tree limb called 'Skin the Cat'. We fed the dogs, Dynamite and Gal Dog and drank from the water hose we had just filled the dogs water bowls with!...and let's not forget the occasional whipping and we were made to pick out our own switch! π...those were the days! While I have not seen you nor talked to you in years, those beautiful memories of a simpler time are ever present. I pray you had a great life and that you are now with your dad (Uncle Sonny/Benjamin Sharp) and your mom (Auntie Pearl/Lillie Pearl Paradise Sharp). Respectfully, your cousin, Veronica Thomas π
