Ms Sheila, you will truly be missed. We go a long way back, when we were in Junior High and then St. Jude. We had lost touch over the years but you were always in my thoughts and prayers. I always asked Veronica and Sandra about you and they would give me updates. Rest on Sheila, no more pains or heartaches. You are free now. Love Forever-Yvette
Sheila had inner & outer beauty, and a brilliant mind. She & my eldest brother were part of a small core group that took advanced classes from the time they attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School until they finished at their different high schools in '78; Sheila at JD (nka JAG) and my brother, Raphael Harris, at St. Jude Educational Institute. I thank God for the example/legacy that Sheila leaves for her daughter; and for her love & commitment to family that she demonstrated through her caregiving and service when she was able. I hadn't seen Sheila since her daughter started at FAAM School. We were at a local grocery store. We hugged and stood in the isle talking about myriad things. I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort & guide each of you as you individually and collectively process the loss of Sheila's physical presence while treasuring your life experiences with Sheila. I'll reach out when I'm back in Alabama.
Love, Peace & Blessings, Avril
