Obituary For Wanda Thomas Hawthorne
Ms. Wanda Thomas Hawthorne, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on February 20, 2026.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama, with Pastor Gary C. Sharpe officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama, with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Hawthorne will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

It devastated me when i heard of her passing. She used to come see me all the way in Hueytown, Alabama. And that was a heartfelt trip. I love you Wanda and you will be truly missed.
