Obituary For Wardell Thomas, Jr.
Wardell Thomas Jr., a Montgomery, AL resident, passed away on October 19, 2026. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Old Ship A.M.E. Zion Church, 483 Holcombe Street, Montgomery, AL 36104, with Pastor Dr. Kathy T. McFadden officiating. Interment will follow at Woodley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will take place Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Thomas will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
