Mr. Brian Alexander Merritt Beloved Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Cousin born on June 21,1974 in Detroit, Michigan made his transition on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in Warsaw, New York at the age of 47. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ellis Funeral Home 22401 Grand River Ave. ( between Lahser Rd. & Telegraph Rd. ) Detroit, Michigan 48219. Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 Family Hour at 10:00 AM with the Celebration Of Life at 10:30 AM at Word Of Faith ICC 20000 W. Nine Mile Rd. Southfield, Michigan 48075. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery 1200 Elmwood Detroit, Michigan 48207. Flower Delivery hours will be on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 12 Noon to 6:00 PM.

RIH Nephew Over the past days, I am flooded with memories of your childhood. How you loved to be with Grandpaw and MeMe and your aunties and cousins. How with one call to Grandpaw you would show up within the hour. How I helped you with your homework and laughed at how you could make your voice sound like Meme's....But what I am most reminded of is how tender your heart was to the things of God. How you would go up in church for alter call or prayer with no hesitation or reservation as a very boy. I recall you giving your life to Christ at New Breed Christian Center with 3 of your aunties in attendance and it is this decision that you made that we are most proud of....
