Mr. Gary Bernard Cooke Sr. of Southfield, Michigan Loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother and Uncle born on June 23, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio made his transition on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan at the age of 77. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ellis Funeral Home 22401 Grand River Ave. ( between Lahser Rd. & Telegraph Rd. ) Detroit, Mi. 48219. Service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 Family Hour at 1:30 PM with the Celebration Of Life at 2:00 PM at Greater Grace Temple 23500 W. Seven Mile Rd. Detroit, Michigan 48219 Bishop Charles H. Ellis III Pastor 313-543-6000. Interment will be at Detroit Memorial Park-West Cemetery in Redford, Michigan. Flower Delivery hours will be on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

My son's and I visited him in Southfield and he visited us in Atlanta. I will never forget the day 6/23/02 when my sister passed away, he was there to comfort me in such a difficult time.
