Mr. Harvey Thornton

When I think back of loving people Harvey was one of the best men I've I ever known. He was kind, thoughtful, considerate, A wonderful provider. The friendship our families has had for over 40 years changed long ago from friends to family. We shared our lives together, limousine ride to concert at the Fox Theater, for our anniversary dinners with just the four of us. And countless wonderful memories. You will be sorely missed, but the memories will last forever!!! God has truly shinned on our lives!!! Reatha Housworth and Family

Uncle Harvey was such a pleasure to be around. My last time seeing him, he treated me to a fun round of golf and he was a very gracious host. He hit some good shots and some bad shots but smiled and laughed the whole round with us. Uncle Harvey, we will forever miss you. Growing up, visiting you and family in Detroit, you and your family coming to Cleveland to visit us, and family reunions. Your dedication to family, your infectious smile, that laugh, and wisdom you shared whenever we were together. There was nothing better than a family Bid Whist tournament and the honor of a lifetime earning the right to be an opponent... 😄I will especially miss how my dad, Clarence would laugh until almost crying while on a weekly phone call with you. Dad, described you as his brother when you were lil boys (although you were his uncle with only 4 yrs separating you, you grew up as brothers). In the last 20 years, the two of you bacame best friends. We love you Aunt Yvette, Sandy, Charlotte, Terry, Derry, grands, and great grands! Peace and Blessings always🙏🏽

Uncle Harvey "The Godfather" the wisest and most loving man you ever had the pleasure of knowing . I appreciated all of the gems he bestowed upon me. He will be greatly missed.
