The Thomas Family and Kathy,
I am truly sadden to hear about the passing of Kenny. I regret not being able to attend his Home Going service but had the opportunity to listen to a recording of some of the comments made about Kenny. One of the themes about Kenny contained in all the comments was that Kenny was opinionated and dependable. I have very fond memories of growing up with Kenny on Euclid. Those memories include Kenny's huge (I do mean huge) afro, thick mustache and side burns, infectious laugh and smile, and him being opinionated and dependable. He was opinionated about everything and anything dealing with cars, playing cards, fishing, and girls or for that matter any subject he had just read about in a magazine article. Most importantly, however, when I needed Kenny to be a friend he never let me down. He always answered the friendship call and behaved like you would want a friend to behave. I don't remember when Kenny and I became friends, maybe we were 7 or 8 years old. Kenny was one of many childhood friends from the neighborhood. At one point, some of us formed a group calling ourselves the Euclid Eagle Eyes. Many of these friends have over the years since transitioned on. A lady during her Home Going comments about Kenny said, and I paraphrase, that she believes that Kenny and his deceased relatives are meeting each other again in heaven. I too believe that to be true and I also believe that Kenny, with his huge afro back and his infectious laugh, and the Euclid Eagle Eyes who transitioned before him are in heaven laughing and listening to Kenny's opinion about everything. May God continue to Bless and Comfort you all! Garey Lindsay (Cincinnati, Ohio)
