Mrs. Janet Irene Combs of Lathrup Village, Michigan Loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt born on March 27, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan made her transition on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in Lathrup Village, Michigan at the age of 84. Visitation/ Family Hour will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the Celebration Of Life at 11:00 AM at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church 29124 Eton St. Westland, Michigan 48186 Suffragan Bishop Luke A. McClendon Pastor 734-326-3833. Interment will follow at United Memorial Gardens Cemetery 4200 Curtis Rd. in Plymouth, Michigan. Flower Delivery hours will be on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM.

When my aunt Janet joined the Combs family she always brought joy and excitement when she came around. My mother Hazel was the most happy I'd ever seen her before to have aunt Janet for a sister-in-law. I didn't get to grow up around Ladonna, OtisJr. , & Dianne but I'll be forever grateful Combs children to have had your mom in my life as a child. I Love you all, your cousin Ivy
To my sister...JANICE! In my eyes "a shooting star, a giant in piano music creativity and a legendary voice (under-appreciated)". Was a honor to be watched as a youngster by you, listening to your music talent growing up. I have and will always cherish your music tapes/CDs. So glad I could see you within the last 10yrs! Always loved you SIS! Billy!
