Mr. Andrew “Andy” Lewis Dennis, Jr. departed this life for his eternal home on Friday, February 18, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. A native of El Paso, TX he was born on January 3, 1961.
“Andy” as he was called by many moved with his mother, the late Sara Elena Rodriguez Dennis at an early age to Southern California. He eventually moved with his son, Lawrence to North Carolina and resided there until his passing. “Andy” was employed in the HVAC business for over 30 years, a career he loved doing.
“Andy’ was full of life and he found God in everything he did. He was a light-hearted encouraging person who loved to joke and have fun. In his spare time, he loved fishing, traveling, playing cards, listening to music and dancing. He enjoyed being with his family and was a people person who never met a staranger.
He leaves fond memories of him to his sons, Lawrence Dennis and Michael Dennis; daughters, Stacy Dennis, Misty Dennis and Lucia Espinoza (Frank); his fiancée, Tasha Smith and her family whom he loved dearly as his own, Dedrick, Jeter, Tia Smith and Breione Smith; grandchildren, Mason Dennis, Lawrence Dennis, Jr., Mackinley Smith, Paisley Wilson, Zaccheus Jeter, Jennifer Espinoza, Sara Espinoza, Layla Espinoza, Little Frank Espinoza; and two special friends Vincent Corley and Mike Fowler and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 4:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday. The service will be livestreamed starting at 3:45 PM from the Enloe Mortuary Face Book page.
