Jay and I work together at Bayliner as a team putting boats together, he was a smart hardworking man, and when one of us was having a bad day the other would always help out.Jay was a good friend, and my prayers and sympathy goes out to the family.

Words can't really express how I feel about the passing of my friend and classmate. Memories flood my mind of us playing basketball on the playground and enjoying school together at Shelby High. Looking at each other while trying to hold back tears at graduation. Attending football games and playing spades. To the Jones Family, I offer you heartfelt condolences. Jay will never be forgotten. Rest well my friend. Don Davenport and Family
