To the surviving families of Ms Bessie I. George: None of us are ever prepared for the loss of a loved one; but the suddenness of Bessie's passing is almost unbelievable to me. I can only imagine the void you must be experiencing. My memories of Bessie take me back to the Washington Yellow Jackets, 10 laps around the basketball court, eye goggles for protection and her ability to maneuver around and make a basket. She was kind, full of energy and a good friend as a classmate. I am so happy that I had the pleasure of reconnecting and reminiscing with her, at our class reunions and shared communications. My deepest sympathy and condolences to all of her families and may the Lord grant you peace and comfort, during this time of grief. Loving memories, Isabelle Dawkins Famble
My sincere condolences to the George and Wallace Family. I became very fond of Ms. Bessie when I worked as her Realtor to find her the house that she was in. When we would see each other we always greeted each other with a big smile and normally a hug. She was always so kind to me and she was great to work with. Love, Gaye DeVoe
