Obituary For Betty Barnett
Ms. Betty Sue Carson Barnett, 92, of Shelby, NC, received eternal rest on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby. She was born in Cleveland County, NC as the youngest child of the late Dock Carson and Addie Pompey Carson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 12 noon, at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Webb Memorial Lawns Cemetery. The reception of family and friends will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12 noon. The family will be receiving friends at 1407 Charles Road, Shelby, NC beginning Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

I have fond memories of Ms.Betty during my teen years. I used to comb and oil her long luxurious hair. I was happy to see her again .. a few years back while she was still in good health. I look forward to seeing her again because Jesus has promised that he will call her to come on out of her Memorial tomb ( John 5:28,29.) This is a firm promise that gives us hope for the future. When I see pictures of Wanda , I see a young vibrant Ms. Betty. I am offering my sincerest condolences to the family and praying for your endurance..
