My heart truly hurt when I just now saw this post... It saddens me that I didn't know in time to come and honor his life. I have know Mr. Guest for 40 years, he lived next door to my granny(Bessie Cherry) for a while and I was only about 7 around then. He also sang some with my dad (Doug Cherry) and some of his children were my friends. Every time I saw him it was like we just spoke a few days ago... he was a kind man, creative, helpful and caring. His presence here on earth will truly be missed. My condolences to all of his family, you have my prayers.
My heart goes out to the family.

I was deeply sadden when I learned of Bryan's passing. Bryan, was good person, a kind and friendly person, pleasant and easy to be around, he was also a soulful singer and friend. Bryan, traveled to Charlotte last year to sing a solo at my brother's- Rayfield Cabaniss' Celebration of Life Home Going Service. His presence and sining was a great comfort to The Cabaniss Family.
The Gospel Singing of Bryan's father and family bought comfort to many people. From his youth Bryan was a faithful and dedicated member of Robert's Tabernacle C.M.E. Church. Bryan, will be missed. Warren C. Cabaniss and The Family of Ray & Margaret Cabaniss
