Mrs. Cathleen Roseboro Smith, 83, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Atrium Health Cleveland, Shelby, NC. She was born on May 25, 1942, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late King Roseboro and Ellen Kennedy Roseboro.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church with visitation being from 1:30 until 2 p.m. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of Earl cemetery. The family will be meeting at 116 Jeter Road in Grover, NC.

Sending prayers and love to the Smith family. I met Mrs. Smith and her entire family when I was a little girl many many years ago while living on Jeter Road. My memory of her will always remain. She was such a very pleasant lady. She always made me feel welcome in her presence with her soft spoken words, her calm spirit and her continuous smile. Another memory I have of her is knowing how much she loved her husband Frank. There would be times while sitting on the porch the two of them would drive by with huge smiles on their faces as they would wave hello. May God continue to keep you all in His care. Love you all.
