Missing my cousin ❤️❤️
Condolences from the Dorothy Wray -Beam Family we are Praying Family! Love you Guys
Growing up on Eppirt Street in East Orange, New Jersey was a most memorable time. I grew up with 4 other siblings and the rest of the kids on the block. My siblings and I each had someone to hangout with on the block. But what was really awesome was if we needed more fire power we had that too in addition to our parents. Clarence Hambrick was the extra fire power for the kids on the block. Clarence was my oldest brother's (Alonzo ((Al)) Coleman's friend, along with Larry Cobb. I was one of the youngest girls on the block who grew up feeling safe outside after the street lights came on because we ("all the kids) knew we had, my brother, Clarence, and Larry. Clarence also has a younger brother who's soul is resting in peace along with both of my brothers now. When Clarence saw that we were out of line he said something. We were proud of the extra parental guidance especially because my parents worked nights or was sleeping preparing to go to work at night. I watched Clarence and my brother play sports (baseball), listen to their favorite musicians and bring home his first love of his life. It saddens me to know the Lord is ready for Clarence. But God gave me my last opportunity to speak with Clarence when he called me to give his condolences to my oldest brother. We reminded each other of the "good ole days" growing up on Eppirt Street at that time. Clarence will be missed and never forgotten. Sending My Love Clarence and may your soul rest in peace! Clarence "Teddy" was my oldest and dearest of friends. He reached out to me and became my first friend when our family moved to Eppirt St. in East Orange, NJ. Our homes were separated by 1 house. He was a big part of my childhood. Riding bikes all over the area, electric car racing (it was called HO back then), both played the clarinet, baseball, basketball, football, trips with his family, and our fascination with muscle cars. We also shared a love of chess and jazz. He was a great friend who would give you the shirt off of his back, and while we weren't in often contact as we got older, we had an unbroken bond. I will miss him dearly...Condolences to all who knew and loved him. Take your rest, my good brother with your Celestial family. We loved you, but God loved you best.
Eternal love, Larry (whom you affectionately labeled "the kid")
