Obituary For Crystal Adams
Mrs. Crystal Byers Adams, 73 of 529 Crocker Rd. Kings Mountain, NC passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Atrium Health-Main in Charlotte, NC. Crystal was born February 2, 1950, in Grover, NC to Forest Alonzo Byers and Thelma Shear Byers.
She attended Compact School. She was a 1968 graduate of Kings Mountain High School. She was employed by Eaton Corporation until her retirement.
Crystal was a woman of strong faith and she loved the Lord. She was a member of St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She never met a stranger.
Cherished memories are left in the hearts of her husband, Leonard Adams; two sons, Chaddrick “Chad” Adams of Kings Mountain and Marquis Adams of Grover; one daughter, Antionette “Toni” Adams of Kings Mountain; sisters, Mae Catherine Gardner (Lesco), Diane Feemster (Thomas), both of Grover, Linda Smarr of Kings Mountain; one brother, Charles “ Billy” Byers of Grover; sisters-in law, Dorothy G. Byers of Kings Mountain, Phyllis Ledbetter of Gastonia; brothers-in-law, Aldean Adams (Jeannette) of Grover, Michael Adams, Dennis Adams (Wanda) both of Shelby; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren: a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 15, St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church in Grover, NC at 12:00 PM. The family will be receiving friends at the home from 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM daily. In addition, the family will receive friends at the church at 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday.

What a blessing it has been to have known Mrs. Adams!! She brought such sweet joy to my heart each time I visited the family or exchanged text messages. During the short time I have grown to love your family, it was quite evident that Mrs. Adams deeply loved her entire family and how much she wanted each one to reach their full potential. She will be deeply missed. I pray for each of you to feel the love, comfort and peace of our Lord and Savior in the coming days!!
