I am going to miss my friend Elijah. He was the first person I met in Charlotte 11 years ago and we were solid until his departure. My heart is completely broken. Elijah was the best person I know. His impact to the community and everyone he met was just Elijah being who he was. To his family, my deepest condolences on this tremendous loss. My God bring you peace in this time of bereavement.

This is so UNREAL to me. Elijah was my best friend. I could call him just out of the blue and just talk about anything. We would stay on the phone for hours. My condolences to his family especially his son and his grandkids. Best friends forever until we meet again. Love you

My condolences to the entire family. We grew up as neighbors but became family. Remember all the times we played stick ball between the houses. The sun until sun down playing basketball on the dirt courts. You could dribble your but off. You will truly be missed.

Elijah for years was my sister's umpire at Shelby City Park. We would always talk and joke and he would always make the girls laugh. He was do down to earth. My deepest condolences to the family and friends. Prayers for the days ahead. 🙏💕🙏 Gone but never forgotten.
Our hearts are broken in passing of one of the greatest young man we have ever met. So loving kind and respectful are just a few words to describe (Gomer) as we called him. Always visited us with B his son and was the perfect father son grandfather and bother. What a joy for us to be counted as part of his adopted family. He loved and cared for our twins as if they were his little sisters and our son as his brother. We rejoice in a life lived showing love to all. God bless you B and his family he is resting no pain just a brand new body. We love you yet it is ok for us to cry not as if we don't have hope yet let us live to see him again. Gone but will never be forgotten. Roger,Suzette,Duan,Kyndal.Dr.Randa Ross.Shanda R.,Tony Martin Your family. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️
