Obituary For Ellen Leona Wilson Adams
Ms. Ellen Leona Wilson Adams, 99, of Shelby, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby. She was born on October 14, 2025 in Cherokee County, SC to the late Avester Wilson and Panola Moorehead Wilson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC at 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The reception of of family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the church. All other times the family will be meeting at the home of her daughter at 220 Leslie Drive, Shelby, NC from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. daily.

Auntie you will be truly missed. Your soft voice gentle heart and loving care of you always showed to others, especially the way you stepped in after mom died and became our other mother. That was the only way we were able to cope with her loss. I love you and would never forget you till I see you again my other mother.
I remember Ms Adams when I attended First Baptist, Earl. She was such a precious lady. Always smiling and taking care of those grands. Mary I'm sorry to know that she passed but I know that she is resting with Jesus.
