Mother Elsie McDowell relationship with Christ Jesus, was evident in her walk, talk, and her smile. Condolences to the McDowell families.
Mother McDowell was a very loving, and mighty warrior of God, Mother McDowell had a voice of power for the true and living God. I pray that the family find comfort in knowing that this warrior of God stood like the tree planted by the rivers of living waters for the blood stained banner of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Be encouraged family and friends that Mother McDowell has finished her good fight of faith on this side of heaven. Though we all will miss Mother McDowell, let us all be encouraged that she was chosen by God to be one of his Elders for many years and as she has transitioned onto rest in Jesus, she has passed the torch on to her children to carry out the blood the mission and assignments of reaching the lost, preaching and teaching the unadulturated Word of God. Mother McDowell has gained her wings and transitioned on to glory and she knew that she was loved by many and most of all that she knew Jesus Christ as her very own personal Saviour. This is a time of rejoicing Jesus for the life of Mother McDowell, and as we remember her we in this house shall remember Mother McDowell for being the shining light that Jesus has called all of us to be in this world, and Mother McDowell shined bright and stood tall on the Word of God. Mother McDowell we celebrate your life and I thank God for allowing you to shine in my life on this side of heaven. God Bless you family and I pray that God comforts you during this time as you go on in this life without the physical presence of Mother McDowell, but living your lives serving God to one day be reunited with her again. Love the family of Elder Lamont Shaver and Minister Latasha Shaver.
