Evelyn Patricia Bourgeois, 22 month old, of Ellenboro, NC, was welcomed back to heaven on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Atrium Health, Charlotte, NC. She was born in Spartanburg, SC, to Justin Michael Bourgeois and Heaven Krieger Bourgeois on May 15, 2023.

Evelyn brought joy to her entire family. She was bossy and sassy with her own little attitude pointing her finger as the proof. Loving to cuddle, she was so lovable and always full of expressions. Her favorite stuffed animal was her unicorn, and her favorite games were hide and seek and peek-a-boo.

Those who welcomed her home are her sister, Alyssa Bourgeois;paternal grandfather, Ronnie Joseph Bourgeois and maternal great-grandparents, Timothy and Heidi Flavin.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her parents, Justin and Heaven Bourgeois; her siblings, Sabrina Bourgeois, Michael Bourgeois, Nicholas Swink and Nathan Swink; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Kerstin Krieger, Tracy Swink, Darlene Hough, and Hector Cruz; paternal grandmother, Sandy Bourgeois; great-grandmother, Mary Darragh; paternal aunts, Gloria Kearns (Steve), Lori Palmer (Ralph), Bambi Lee Williams (Dustin) and Amanda Bourgeois; maternal aunts and uncles, Heidi Dyer, Timothy Rondon, Athena Carroll, Summer Krieger, Leah Swink, Mary Frontena, Ronald Krieger, II , River Krieger and Stephen Snell, and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel at 6 p.m. Enloe Mortuary is in charge of services.
