Obituary For Fred Smith, Jr.
Fred Smith, Jr., 82, of 136 Andrews Drive, Grover, NC, passed away on January 15, 2026, at Atrium Health Main, Charlotte, NC. He was born on April 26, 1943 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Freddie Albert Smith and the late Mildred Rogers Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church in Grover, NC at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby, NC. The reception of family and friends will be from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the church. The family will be meeting at the home from 3 - 7 pm on Saturday, January 17 - Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at all other times.
