Mr. Frederick Bernard Ellis of Gaffney, SC, was affectionately known as Fred or Freddie. He was born January 19, 1950 in Cherokee County, Gaffney, SC and gained his wings on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. He was the son of the late Fred Richard Ellis and the late Rosa Mae Corry Ellis.
The family will be meeting at 208 Sierra Street in Gaffney, SC beginning Thursday, February 5th - Friday, February 6th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm only.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. The reception of family and friends will be from 2- -2:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Services will be live streamed from the Shoal Creek Baptist Church YouTube channel, ShoalCreekDrIsaac.
