Obituary For Glenn Allen Brooks

Mr. Glenn Allen Brooks, 75, of Shelby, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 15, 1951 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Robert and Estelle Thompson Brooks.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. The reception of family and friends will be from 1:30 - 2 p.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

The family will be meeting at 611 Dellinger Road, Shelby, NC, beginning Thursday, January 15 - Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

I'm deeply saddened at Glenn's passing. I remember when I was a kid Glenn would play "karate fight " with me . We were cousins but I think of him and all of the brooks family as brothers and sisters. Glenn's mother Aunt Estelle and my mother Elizabeth Hunt were the closest of sisters. Glenn will be missed
