Mr. Hillery Anderson Rippy, 73, of Shelby, NC, passed away on October 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born on November 27, 1951 in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Hillery Anderson Rippy, Sr. and Ethel Ramseur Rippy.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Ryburn Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1329 Frederick Street, Shelby, NC.

A cousin whom we will miss his presence always meeting at Bridges Barbecue on Grover Street. He would even most time treat me to lunch. We attended elementary school together and he was always a kind loving guy. Life sometimes gets you to a lonely place but Andy never stayed there he always pulled himself through.
