Ms. Inetta Green, 71, of Kingstown, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2023, at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. She was born on June 9, 1952, to the late Herchel Haynes and Willie Mae Stroud in Cleveland County, NC.
Inetta was a 1970 graduate of Burns High School. She was retired from Nestle’s Corporation of Gaffney, SC. Inetta was a dedicated mother and was actively involved in their lives as well as her siblings assisting in helping to rear their children as well. As the oldest sibling in her family, she was an independent person who was quiet but direct with her interactions with others. You never had to guess where she stood on things. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and baking.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her two sons, George “Billy” Green, Jr. (Serelyn) of High Point, NC and André Green of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Karsyn Green and Gabrielle Davis; her siblings, Lena Ann Boykins of Kingstown, NC, Charles Boykins (Liz) of Abiline, TX, Willie Gene Boykins of Kingstown, Janet Boykins of Greensboro, NC, Denise Logan (Morgan) of Boiling Springs, NC, Darlene Boykins and Rhonda Boykins both of Shelby and Linda Wilson (James) of Kingstown, NC; two aunts, Lena Pounds and Hazel Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 18, at Palmer Grove Baptist Church at 11:30 a.m. with the receiving of friends from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

Andre' and Billy, I'm so sorry you lost your precious Mother. Inetta and I worked together years ago. In conversations we discovered that we are family.
