Obituary For James Williamson

Elder James W. Williamson age 86, of Shannon House Drive, Shelby, NC began his life’s journey here on October 11, 1932 in Cleveland County, NC. His birth was a blessing to his parents, Fred and Queen Esther Williamson.

Elder Williamson ended his earthly journey on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at White Oak Manor in Shelby, NC and began a journey amongst the angels in the arms of the Most High.

Elder Williamson was called into ministry at the very young age of 12 as he gave his life to God. As a talented visionary, leader and pastor, Elder Williamson featured ministerial activities in Staten Island New York, North Carolina and surrounding cities and Deerfield Beach, Florida where he met the love of his life, the late Helen Deloris Knowles Williamson who both served God to the fullest for His Glory and to behold their King. Elder Williamson dwelled continuously in the presence of God with unbreakable faith.

He was preceded in glory by his father, Fred Williamson; his wife, Evangelist Helen D. Williamson; his children, James Derrick Williamson, Rev. Ronald Leon Williamson, Micheal Dean Williamson, Kenneth Williamson and daughter, Maraetta “Rita” Williamson along with their mother, Frances Emmaline Grier.

Elder Williamson leaves behind to cherish his memory: his mother, Queen Esther Williamson 106 years young; his daughter, Angela Michelle Williamson; sons, Joseph James Williamson and Christopher Lee Williamson; brothers, Harold Williamson (Elaine) Eugene Williamson (Goldie) and Rayford Williamson (the late Francis); a sister, Patricia Williamson Flack (the late Calvin); 14 grandchildren, Rashawn Hart, Ronnett Price, Ronald Fedrick, Tanisha Hendrix, Marvin J. Williamson, Alishea S. Wilcox, Alexus A. Wilcox, Francine Jones, Derrick Strong, Johnathon Williamson, Amara, KaLee and McKenzie Williamson; twelve great grandchildren, Keondria, Kaulia, Kadela Williamson, Damani Strong, Alexander Strong, Josiah Strong, Nariah Strong, Nyha Sophia Williamson, Hannah Michelle Williamson, Benjamin Joel Francois, Garrett Zeke Schiavone, Cody James Schiavone, Jr. and the late Michelle Williamson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 3:30 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 3:30 PM on Saturday. The service will be livestreamed starting at 3:15 PM from the Enloe Mortuary Face Book page.
