Mr. Jemari Davion Parks, 19, of Kingstown, NC passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby, NC.
Jemari graduated early December 2021 and walked with his class June of 2022. He was currently employed with Kendrion for the last ten months.
Jemari was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Otis and Peggy Parks; maternal grandfather, Charles Wright; god-father (uncle), Charles Parks and uncle, Brian Parks.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Lavonda Wright; father, David Parks (Lavette Kelly); grandmother, Virginia Reinhardt; brothers, Aaron Wright, Daron Wright, David Parks, Jr; god-mother, Joyce Parks; four nieces, Ariyanna Ellis, Ariyah Parks, Amaya Parks and Dee Dee Wright; three nephews, Aiden Ellis, Daron Wright, Jr.,and Xavier Wright; special friends and family, Malik Parks, Porshe Parks, Christina Odoms, Keir Isaac, Jerry Ross, Jayda Jackson, Malik Ross, Dayonna Goodlett, Janya Maddox, Damion Lawrence and a host of cousins and friends.
I could go on and on. He had love for all that came across his path and there was not a time ya'll didn't cut up or laugh with him.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Palmer Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday. Burial will take place at Golden Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

I will surely miss my greatnephew, he was a quite and sweet young man. I was so looking forward to him attending auto mechanic school, now a dream and a life cut short for no reason. God please comfort our family and bring us closure. Aunt Diane
