Mr. Jimmy Lee Elmore of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Via Health Partners (Wendover Hospice House) in Shelby. He was born on February 4, 1946 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Johnny Russell Schenck and Naomi Schenck and the late Cleveland and Ada Lou Elmore Marable.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Shelby, NC at 1:30 PM. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The reception of family and friends will be from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM at the church.
