Mrs. Julia Koon Barnes, 85, of Shelby, NC, passed away on June 24, 2025 at Wendover Hospice House, Shelby, NC. She was born on August 12, 1939 in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Willie Albert Koon and the late Rosa Mae Gladney Koon.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel in Shelby, NC at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby.
