Obituary For Kenneth Baxter
Mr. Kenneth Lee “Buck” Baxter departed this earthly life for his eternal home on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Peak Resources in Shelby, NC. He was born on February 5, 1962 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Floyd Edward Brown and the late Shirley Baxter Brown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church in Waco. Burial will be at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 on Saturday at the church and at other times at 118 Thompson Rd. Kings Mountain, NC.

My condolences to the Brown family. Ken was remembered as a quiet childhood friend and classmate. And a great athlete in football and baseball. You will be truly missed.
