Ms. Lois Crawford, 71, of Shelby, NC, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Gussie Henry and Willie Jewel Torry Crawford. She was born in Cleveland County, NC on February 15, 1954.
She was a graduate of Shelby High School and Limestone College where she earned a bachelorβs degree in Psychology.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Gussie J. Crawford Walton, Helen L. Crawford Mintz, and Elven (Evelyn) Crawford; brother, Robert Crawford; and nephew Lamar Hyde.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Frankie Lamont Crawford (Facheaux) of Charlotte, NC; niece/daughter, Vanetra Crawford Hall of Shelby, NC; sister, Dorothy A. Mintz (Raymond) of Shelby, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel.

I remember Lois as the youngest daughter of a caring family. Gussie Jewel, Helen and Dot took me under their wings at a youthful time. The family was generous and kind. May God protect and help them through this time of loss.
