Ms. Shirley Marie Surratt Williams, 64 departed this life on June 13, 2026 in Shelby, NC. She was born on December 28, 1961 in Cleveland County, NC to the late William Surratt and the late Carrie Twitty Surratt.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Palmer Grove Baptist Church. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday and at other times at 618 Chapel Drive Shelby.

Then you came on up to Cottonwood Apartments everyone love meeting up at your place but all I could say is do not go to sleep (toes burnt) lol the good ole days Take your rest love you were an amazing friend always had a smile. There are so many memories I have of Aunt Marie. To God Be the Glory, they all include laughter and smiles! I can hardly ever remember a time seeing her where she wasn't the light in the room! Even at times where she had to tell it like it is, she always ended it with a joke to make you smile. She will definitely be missed, as she was truly loved by many! We will all just have to live in order to see her again. My thoughts and condolences to the family! May you all find comfort and strength in our Lord, Savior, Jesus Christ! Love you allβ€οΈππΏπ
