Obituary For Marilyn Mauney Griffin
Mrs. Marilyn Mauney Griffin, 88, formerly of Lawndale, NC transitioned to her eternal home in heaven on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born on May 29, 1937 in Cleveland County to the late Lucille Williamson Mauney and the late Larkin Mauney.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 4:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Lawndale in Lawndale, NC. Burial will take place at Philadelphia United Methodist Church in Lawndale. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 4:30 PM on Saturday and at other times at 135 Schenck Farm Rd. Lawndale NC 28090 on Friday, September 26th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
