Mrs. Martha Bell Moses went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. She was born on July 28, 1944, in Shelby, NC to the late Charles Alberry and Isabell Story.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Clifton Junior and John Teeville Moses and her lifelong companion, Linwood Ross.
She will be truly missed by her four daughters, Pearly J. Moses of Charlotte, NC, Marsha S. Barnes of Mount Gilead, NC, Debra J. Moses of Charlotte, NC and Barbara A. Griggs (Mike) of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Domiko T. Moses (Makiko) of Dubai, Rakeesha P. Billings (Brenda) of Lumberton, NC, Clifton T. Moses of Shelby, NC, Shante C. Gaffney-Culp (Andre) of Charlotte, NC, Jacques A. Oates, Jr. and Makala A. Moses both of Charlotte, NC; eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friend.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:30 AM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
MS Martha was one of th sweetest ladies I've had th honor of meeting. She lived beside my mom over at Easter Village. I'm so sorry for y'all loss and I pray tht everyone who knew and loved her find strength and peace thru this difficult time. She was such a loving woman. Praying for family and friends. 🙏🙏
