Obituary For Matthew Allison

Mr. Matthew “Rome” Jerome Allison, 60, of 2704 Camp School Rd. Shelby, NC passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby. He was born January 10, 1963 in Cleveland County, NC to the late John Ray Allison and the late Lenora Young Allison.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM. The Service will be livestreamed from Enloe’s Facebook Page starting at 1:45 PM. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Wow 😢my condolences to the family. This was truly a shock to me to see this on Facebook. Went to school with Matthew at Crest High. Matthew was always funny with that smile on his face holding his head up in the air. A good person inside and out. I'm truly going to miss Matthew.
