Obituary For Matthew "Jorden" McCormick
Mr. Matthew “Jorden” McCormick, 27, of Shelby, NC, passed away on September 12, 2025, in Clover, SC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC on March 2, 1998. He was the son of Crystal McCormick and Andre Sloan and the son of Rocklin Haskin and the late Nancy Haskin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Le Chãteau du Coeur, 527 Whitaker Road, Shelby, NC at 3:00 pm. The reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Our condolences to your family on the loss of a beautiful young man. We met Jordan when he waited on us at Outback. He immediately became our favorite server. He was such a joy, always smiling. I am glad that we recently saw him at Texas Roadhouse, and had a chance to tell him how proud we were of him.
