Mr Maurice Montell McDowell, departed this life on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby, NC.. He was born on November 25, 1969 in Cleveland County, NC to Dorothy Early Hopper and the late Bobby Strong.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 3:30 PM at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 3:30 PM at the chapel and at other times at the home of his mother, Dorothy Hopper 1646 Friendship Rd. Shelby.
