I have known May as a fellow volunteer with Shepard's Table Ministry. She was the epitome of kindness and goodness in her work and interactions with others. She spoke often with pride and love for her family. I feel so blessed to have known her. She will be missed by many. Jeannie Travis

Mae was an important part of our Shepherd's Table Ministry at Redeemer Shelby. Her kindness and generosity will be missed! Prayers for her family and all those who loved her. Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant Mae. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.

May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

To the family of Mae Dorsey Hayes,

Words cannot describe the hurt and sadness our Canaan church family is feeling right now. Mae was one of the Mothers of our church and faithful member. We had just spoken last Sunday and she was excited about attending Jordan's graduation party. She will be missed so much she was a confidant, friend and prayer partner. Mae which i called tostie was a sweet lady and great cook she could cook.anything you wanted Mae is going be miss by many with her sweet little smile and soft spoken words.i have never seen tostie mad if she was you would.never know it.

My mom and Mother Hayes was close and now they are both in Heaven Giving God all the Glory for reuniting in Glory. Sleep on and w will see you on that great getting up morning.
