Navi Aylan Washington, infant son of Antonio Washington and Chantz Thompson returned back to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC. Navi was born on January 15, 2026 at 25 gestations. Though his time on earth was brief, Navi's life was filled with strength, purpose, and immeasurable love.
Navi is the cherished and deeply loved son of Antonio Washington and Chantz Thompson. He is the beloved baby brother of Princeton and Aaliyah Washington, who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
He is lovingly remembered by his grandparents, Antonio D. and Toya Washington; the late Angeline Y. Duncan; Tony and Pamela Brown; Josetha and Cindy Thompson; great grandmother Sheila Dawkins, and great grandfather Herbert Catlin and the late Laura Catlin; great grandmother Betty Washington; the late Eddie B. (Hattie Ruth) Haynes; the late David (Annie Sue) Farley, great grandparents. Navi is also cherish by 4 uncles Lance (Alexis) Hush, Josetha (Maria) Thompson Jr., Willie Haynes Jr., Manjoe Mackins; 4 aunts, Ashley Thompson, Khadijah McKinney, Vontina Williams, and the late Nestoshia (Star) Mackins; a special cousin Keziah Hush, and a host of cousins.
A private service was held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Word of Deliverance Christian Church, Bessemer City, NC.
