Obituary For Orenthal James Hicks

Mr. Orenthal James “O.J.” Hicks, 57, of Forest City, NC, passed away on June 8, 2026 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 19, 1968 to the late Donald Ray Hicks and Naomi Cumberlander Hicks in Kannapolis, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 1:00 p.m. at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The reception of family and friends will be held from 12:30 until 1. Burial will be in Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
