Ms. Ossie Mae Parker Oates, 87, passed away on April 30, 2026, at Peak Resources in Cherryville. She was born on July 20, 1938 in Cleveland County, NC to the late James Bruce Parker and the late Frances Hosch Parker Grier.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Washington Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The reception of family and friends will be from 10:30 until 11 a.m.
