Obituary For Patricia Lawrence
Ms. Patricia Manning Lawrence transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Atrium Health-Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, she was born January 12, 1953.
βTrishβ as she was affectionately called, was employed by Cleveland Mills for more than 20 years. After the Mill closed, she attended Cleveland Community College and worked in healthcare until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Mary Manning Hosch and Robert Lee Hosch; two sisters, Siberia Denise Hosch, Charlene Toms Wilks; a brother Reginald Lewis Hosch, and her father Charles Littlejohn. Trish leaves to cherish fond memories a son, who was the love of her life, Calvin Patrick Brown; a brother Bruce Manning (Donita) of Shelby; three sisters, Phyllis M. Hosch of Shelby, Judy H. Ray (Alvin) of Fayetteville, NC; and Joyce L. Hosch of Earl, NC; one grandchild, CaiaZettie Brown; a brother-in-law, Dennis Wilks, a special son Darryl βBat Miteβ Montgomery, a special daughter, Tareney Moon and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Isaac officiating. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM at the church and other times at 432 Monroe St. Shelby.
